Original Item. Only One Available. This is a tremendous uniform to an Enlisted man serving in the Cavalry during the Spanish-American War. The uniform is an extremely scarce Infantry Officer’s M1898 Tropical coat with yellow shoulder boards attached, denoting Cavalry. As the uniform regulations were all very new at this time, many soldiers and officers altered their uniforms themselves.
The coat retains all buttons which are marked to several different makers, and are attached via small rings on the back. There are no markings we can find in the uniform itself, which is common to see for uniforms of this period.
A very rare uniform coat in outstanding condition, ready for further research and display.
