Item Description
Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very scarce piece which was in many ways the marriage of the powder horn and the powder flask, a powder flask with a lacquered horn body and a metal trim. This example is in good shape but the trim is a bit loose and is missing one of the nails.
The cap is still fully intact and functional. It still screws out fine. The piece measures 7⅜ x 5” and is in good shape overall. The two rings are still in place to hold the carrying strap. This is a great example from the Seminole Wars period, ready for further research and display.
