  • Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great example of an American Revolutionary War era socket bayonet. These bayonets were blacksmith-made copies of the British Early Land Pattern Brown Bess socket bayonet, which is how most American bayonets of the era were designed & made.

Although crude by European standards, this bayonet is a fairly refined example of the non-regulation bayonets made during the Revolutionary War. This example probably dates from 1770–1780. A great example, ready for further research and display.
