Item Description

Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a lovely researcher’s lot of great medals & medal bars dating from the Post-WWI Era through World War II and the Korean War. They include several engraved medals and two great named Navy Medal Bars.

The lot includes:
- Great engraved Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal to Herbert A. Shade for his first enlistment, 1923-1929. He primarily served with the 10th Regiment, Artillery and spent time in Puerto Rico, China, and the U.S. A great opportunity for further research and tremendous engraving.
- Bronze Star Medal engraved to Andrew A. McCance, likely a WWII example but these are difficult to research.
- Army Good Conduct Medal engraved poorly to Robert C. Burch, good research project.
- 5-Place Navy Medal bar with Corresponding mini-bar to Alan Gordon Hayes, Dated 1948, engraved on the Navy Good Conduct Medal. “A former resident of Rockville, Montgomery County, MD, he retired to Jensen Beach, FL in 2006. He served 30 years in the Naval Dental Corps and served on the USS WISCONSIN, during the Korean Conflict. After his military retired he worked for Cadesco and the Lockwood Dental Supply in Rockville.”
- 4-Place Navy Medal bar engraved on the Navy Good Conduct Medal to Lawrence Vincent Downs, dated 1947. There’s a photo of him on his find-a-grave, good potential for more research.

This is a tremendous group of medals, with tons of research potential between them! Comes ready for further research and display.
