Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very scarce example of a U.S. Regular Army enlistment poster designed and printed in April 1941, 8 months before the United States would enter the Second World War. It depicts an American soldier with an M1 Garand slung around his back, wearing a Kelly Helmet and marching forward.
The poster measures roughly 25 x 38” and is in fair condition with some issues. The poster was designed by Tom Woodburn and was printed April 15th, 1941 according to the information along the bottom. There is a tear in the bottom right, and a heavy fold marking on the left side of the poster. This example would look best in a frame.
This is an extremely scarce poster, the first we have offered. Comes ready to be framed and displayed!
