Original U.S. Pre-WWI & WWI Navy Scrapbook Album with 60+ Photos Along with Diary Pages, Documents, and More - Served from 1910-1918

Item Description

Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a lovely Pre-WWI and WWI Scrapbook photo album belonging to Richard Floyd Tremper, a Sailor of the U.S. Navy who served from May 1910 until January 1914, then again from June 1917 to the end of the war. He served aboard a Patrol vessel during the war, and there is some great material in the scrapbook including some official Navy documents, many pages from his diary which he pasted in, newspapers, great large Signal Corps photos of ships, and more. The album measures roughly 10 x 12”.

Some of the material includes photos from across his service, some Guantanamo bay photographs, there are roughly 15 pages from his WWI diary glued onto some pages, along with his WWI Victory Medal award page, denoting award of the Patrol bar. One page has his two overseas chevrons, and towards the end are mostly newspaper articles and small type-written pages.

There is a great deal of material in here, perfect for any WWI Navy collector. Ready for further research and display.
