  • Original Item. Only One Available. This flare pistol appears to be made of cast iron and it is finished in a very glossy blank enamel or epoxy, except for the cocking piece which is green. This example is marked for Marine Signal use only, and is of the Post-WWII era.


    The pistol is marked on one side of the grip:

    And on the other side: U.S. PAT. NO. 3168788. The pistol still correctly dry fires, with the breech being opened by the latch on top. A good example, ready for further research and display.
