  • Original Item. Only One Available. This is a good Post-Korean War Pre-Vietnam War era T7A Reserve parachute which saw use with the 82nd Airborne Division during the early 1960s at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The exterior shows that the parachute was manufactured by Sigmund Eisner Co. in the 1950s.

The back of the parachute has a heavily worn and rust-damaged parachute log record which shows that the parachute was accepted for use in 1959 with “82nd ps+m Ft. Bragg, N.C.” We aren’t sure what ps+m means but the 82nd Airborne Division has been stationed at Fort Bragg since World War II, so that is likely who used the parachute. The log only shows two uses in 1962

The chute is still very heavy with the handle retained. It’s very tight and we have not attempted to open it. It is rare to find one of these with the log still intact, and this one shows real training use with the 82nd Airborne during the 1960s!
