Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. Here is a very nice octagonal barreled Rifled "Kentucky" style rifle, which more correctly is known as a Pennsylvania Rifle. This looks really nice with it brass mounts, iron trigger guard, octagonal 32" rifled barrel in about .55 caliber. Complete with brass patch box and ramrod, it will look great over the fire place. Very attractive burnt spiral ram rod. There is a nice cheek piece carved into the left butt stock.
Interestingly the rifle has been, since new, fitted with a "set trigger" depressing the rear trigger first until it clicks and just lightly touching the front trigger discharges the weapon, hopefully with great accuracy.
We cannot tell when this was built but it sure looks the business. Ready to display!
