Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This just came out of the attic after a hundred years of storage, together with a couple of hundred other guns. This is a really nice Percussion Pennsylvania style rifle, with aback action lock marked as made by LANE & READ of BOSTON.

The Octagonal Barrel is 27 1/2" and about .43 Caliber. The lovely wood stock is half stocked and features a brass Patch Box. The Trigger Guard is also brass and the gun has scattered silver/pewter type  decorative inlays of Stars and Crescent moons etc. Complete with brass tipped wooden ram rod.

Fully cleaned and ready to display!
