Original U.S. Navy WWII Torpedoman Named Photo Album - My China Cruise

Original Item: One-of-a-kind. This photo album is jaw dropping. It belonged to Tress William Mangu #336-32-71, Torpedo man Second Class USN and includes his original 1934 dated Torpedo School graduation certificate from the Naval Torpedo Station in Newport Rhode Island.
The album is hardcover and features a dark green embossed front cover with Chinese Dragons as well as a naval anchor with life saver ring that reads IN MEMORY OF MY CHINA CRUISE. It is in excellent condition through and consist of dozens of pages or original photos. The first few pages are colorized images of China, then it moves to photos taken on ship while at seas. The images include Submarines, Torpedoes, Battleships, Seamen and so much more. Every page retains its celluloid divider, overall condition is excellent. This is truly a unique and wonderful slice of life for a sailor in the US Navy in the days leading up to the Second World War and into the war. AMAZING!
