Original Item: Only One available. Designed by Gentex for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, the Gentex HGU-84/P Rotary Wing Helmet provides protection and comfort in a lightweight, low-profile design. In addition to the unique bungee-style dual visor capability, the HGU-84/P easily integrates with Gentex performance enhancing accessories to provide industry leading comfort, stability, retention, and protection.
This example is offered in very good condition and consists of a Gentex manufactured HGU 84/P Flight Helmet in size EXTRA LARGE. It has complete avionics, with headphones and microphone. The helmet is definitely designed for rotor wing / helicopter use, and has both a clear and tinted visor attached. These are attached with "bungee" elastic straps to stacked snaps on the sides of the helmet. The chin strap for the helmet is intact and functional. The helmet outer shell is entirely covered in white retro reflective tape, something we see often, which makes the helmet very visible in the light when it is dark. It is named on the reverse McHugh JM6066.
