Original item: Only One Available. Carrier Air Wing Reserve Thirty was established on 1 April 1970 at Naval Air Station Alameda, and was composed of an Air Wing Staff, two Fighter Squadrons, three Attack Squadrons, one Light Reconnaissance Squadron, one Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron, one Early Warning Squadron and one Aerial Refueling Squadron.

The HGU25P helmet was developed specifically for the flight decks of all US aircraft carriers, this unique bump helmet provides impact protection while using hearing protectors or noise-attenuating headsets in one of the most hostile environments on earth.
The HGU-25/P Flight Deck Helmet has three components:

- A Suspension Liner
- A front and a back shell assembly
- Energy-Absorbing impact pads
- Aural Sound Protector

This example is offered in very good condition. it is nicely marked in orange tape on the reverse:

The helmet has the original maker data label indicating that it was manufactured under government contract by Clark. Also included are a pair of Dust, wind and sun goggles.
