  • Original Item: One of a Kind. Here we have a typical 19th Century War Club, as used by various Native American groups. It is a relatively simple design compared to some we have seen, but is made from a single piece of wood, with the 3" x 2 1/2" head made from the where the branch connected to the tree, making it very sturdy. Judging by the color, we assume it is American black walnut, or something similar, a sturdy wood used for gun stocks and other items where strength and durability are important. It measures 19 inches in overall length, and has a lovely curve to it, with a small pommel swelling at the end.

Due to the simple design, we have unfortunately not been able to attribute it to any specific Native American group. It is really in nice shape, and looks to have been carefully cared for over the decades. Ready to research and display!
