  • Original Item: Only one available. Once plentiful on the collector's market, these have become extremely hard to find and this example is offered in good condition. The classic Bazooka from the John Wayne Movies! This is the real McCoy, all cast aluminum two-piece take down construction, inert and deactivated to BATF specs. It even comes with an original deactivated Practice Rocket to complete the look!

    Not Available for Export.

This example is nicely Marked on the rear portion with the full information-

    LAUNCHER, ROCKET
    3.5 INCH M20 A1 B1
    SERIAL NO 275077
    F7140681
    BIRTMAN ELEC. CO.
    INSP - A. R. C.

This example is not one of many made under license by R.F.I. in India, and is definitely the real U.S. Issue. The loading switch still moves and the bazooka breaks down correctly, making this a great display piece. Only issues to note are that the optical sight is VERY stiff when folding down, and the locking tab on the center joint is missing. The spring loaded catch for attaching the front tube to the side of the rear is also missing.

Facts of the Rocket Launcher, M20 "Super Bazooka"

    • Large 3.5 in (90 mm) diameter warhead
    • Could penetrate up to 11 inches (280 mm) of armor
    • Extended range by about 150 m
    • Originally a larger version of the M9A1, designated M20 in late 1944.
    • Entered active service just before the start of the Korean War.
    • Lightweight version with barrels made of cast aluminum, other components simplified
    • Rocket Launcher, M20A1/A1B1 "Super Bazooka" was a product-improved variant with improved connector latch assembly, entering production in 1952.

The included U.S. M20 Super Bazooka Inert Practice Round is a VERY early example, stamped SEP. - 45 into the metal of the blue warhead, with a 3 - 48 paint decal below. There are various other markings on the round, as they were often recycled, and would have new paint markings added as they continued their service.

Comes complete with original optical sight, NOS wooden Grip, and post war paint. Light weight and assembles to approximately 60 inches in overall length. Ready to display!
