Original Items. Only One Set Available. This is an outstanding Korean War U.S. Marine Corps field gear & equipment set, completely set up and perfect for a mannequin. The set consists of both the upper and lower P-41 packs in the later green, a correct 1952 solid green shelter half fully wrapped around the packs, an EGA Stamped entrenching tool cover with tool, and an attached belt rig with a canteen and magazine pouch. There is also interestingly an attached length of copper pipe, which the Marine could have kept for a variety of reasons.
The items in this set include:
- P-41 Upper Pack, great shape with all straps retained. Later dark green variant. Stuffed with cardboard and newspapers for display. Stamped USMC with EGA.
- P-41 Lower pack, good overall shape with straps. Later dark green variant. Stuffed with cardboard and newspapers for display. Stamped USMC with EGA.
- 1952 USMC Shelter half with correct snaps, rolled up and wrapped around the packs as is correct.
- M1943 entrenching tool with EGA stamped on cover. Attached to pack.
- M1936 pistol belt.
- M1942 canteen set with cover dated 1943 with stamped laundry numbers. Canteen itself is marked Tobias 45 and is dated 1944 by Vollrath.
- M1911 magazine pouch dated 1943.
- 1973-dated All-Purpose lightweight individual carrying equipment (ALICE) booklet.
- Copper pipe attached via metal wire, measuring 12 ½” long. We are unsure what the use of it would be.
