Original Items: Only One Lot of 8 Available. The Korean People's Army is the military force of North Korea and the armed wing of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). Under the Songun policy, it is the central institution of North Korean society. Currently, WPK General Secretary Kim Jong-un serves as Supreme Commander and the chairman of the WPK Central Military Commission. The KPA consists of five branches: the Ground Force, the Naval Force, the Air and Anti-Air Force, the Strategic Rocket Forces, and the Special Operation Force.

The KPA considers its primary adversaries to be the Republic of Korea Armed Forces and United States Forces Korea, across the Korean Demilitarized Zone, as it has since the Armistice Agreement of July 1953. As of 2021 it is the second largest military organization in the world, with 29.9% of the North Korean population actively serving, in reserve or in a paramilitary capacity.

- x4 Shoulder Board: The shoulder boards are for a Lieutenant General (2 Stars, No Stripes), Lieutenant Colonel (2 Stars, 2 Center Stripes in Pink), Lieutenant (2 Stars, 1 Center Stripe in Pink) and lastly we believe this to be a private and is without any stars or stripes but is bordered pink. We are uncertain on the color codes of the KPA, making this a wonderful research opportunity.

- North Korean Meritorious Labor Service Medal: Awarded for meritorious labor service,achievement in developing the economy, culture and the arts.

- Reproduction Cap Badge

- China Peoples Volunteers Patch: We are uncertain if this was worn as a patch or used as some sort of ID. It features unit, rank and year.

- Medal For Military Merit Booklet: This is an award citation booklet which would have accompanied the medal. It is dated 1953. Awarded for 10 years exemplary conduct or for distinguished service in combat.

Awarded to more than 500,000 Koreans and more than 400,000 Chinese during the Korean War.
