  • Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a gorgeous and scarce “morale” tour patch made for the 822nd Engineer Aviation Battalion which saw heavy service in Korea. The patch measures 9⅝ x 14½” and depicts an engineer atop a winged vehicle wielding a rifle surrounded by the locations in which the unit served, Pusan, Seoul, Yongdungpo, Taegu, and Kimpo.

Below the locations are the flags of the United States, the United Nations, and South Korea. At the top of the patch is the 5th Air Force insignia with a scroll reading 1951 JUST RETURNED FROM HELL 1952. This is a fantastic piece of soldier culture that would do best in a frame.

Comes ready for further research and display.
