The top is fitted with an adjustable time fuze with a built in expelling charge, while the bottom is fitted with a fin assembly with propellant charge, and an ignition cartridge with percussion primer. The sides of the fin assembly have exhaust holes, which can be blocked with clamps to increase the amount of propulsion for a higher arc.
