Original Item: Only one available. This is a very nice U.S. One Star Brigadier General's Military vehicle identification fender plate and pennant, from the WWII / Korean War era. The plate is made of stainless steel, and the front has a red field with 1 plated alloy star attached. It measures the standard 9" x 6" that the U.S. army uses for their vehicle rank plates. Condition is very good, with just a few small areas of missing paint.
The pennant is in great condition with a lovely embroidered star in the center. It retains its attachment string and measures 9⅝ x 5⅞”. There is little wear or staining to the pennant.
The original carrier is in fair condition and is dark olive drab in color. The carrier does have some staining and wear from use. The plate came in an envelope with a small paper naming it to Col. George McFayden, supposedly used by McFayden after being promoted to Brig. General.
A nice set, ready for further research and display.
