Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely Korean War Era USGI M13 Canvas cover for the 1919A4 Browning Machine Gun. It is in the correct OD Green #7 color introduced late in WWII, and possibly could be WWII remarked, but is most likely Korean War era production. The M1919A4 was in service for decades, and saw extensive use in WWII and Korea, and continued in service through the 1960s. These covers were designed to protect the gun while in transport, and even have a leather "boot" on the bottom to accommodate the pintle when it is attached. It also provides some nice protection when the gun is on the tripod.

This example still has the correct stamped markings on the right hand side:

This indicates production in 1954, though it is possible that is just when the MRT (mildew resistant treatment) was applied. The overall length of the cover is approximately 43", and it is in excellent unissued condition. There is a bit of staining, and the leather has caused some discoloration where it was in contact with the fabric, but overall it presents very nicely.

Just the thing to dress up your M1919A4 display gun!
