Original Items: Only One Lot of 6 Available. Next to headgear, items like Cigarette Lighters are some of the most personal items a Militaria collector can obtain. Not only are they personal items in their own right, but the details of them can serve as an identifier of the owner to whom the item belonged. An indicative item of one’s personality, these have become very sought after items on the collector’s market the last several years.
All lighters are currently not in working order, but appear to just need new flints and fuel. We cannot guarantee functionality. These are sold solely as collector’s items only!
The lighters include:
- Augusta Automatic lighter with 3909th Combat Support Group insignia engraved on one side, with NCO OPEN MESS GREENHAM COMMON on the back.
- Japanese-made Vulcan lighter with 1890 A.A.C.S.E.I. SQUADRON CHANUTE AFB ILL on the side.
- 1994-Dated Zippo lighter with USMC EGA insignia on the side.
- Sarome Super lighter by G.W. Mfg. Co. with ATU-301 (Navy Advanced Training Unit) insignia and NAS CORPUS CHRISTI on one side with SPADS over a small engraving of someone jumping into a plane’s propeller. Still sparks!
- A very interesting Zippo tape measurer with the U.S.S. Ranger CVA 61 engraved on the side. We have never seen one of these before, and it still works despite being heavily rusted.
- Japanese-made Penguin lighter with 64th Air Division Defense insignia on one side with unit name on other side. Lovely sea wave background.
