Original U.S. Indian Wars Federal Army Officer Eagle Plate Belt with Cap Box

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an 1890s high quality brass eagle plate with silvered laurels and cast eagle. The buckle measures 2 14" x 3 1/4 and has been mounted to a 40 inch by 1 5/8 leather officer waist belt. The leather is sound and pliable displaying normal age and wear. Overall very good condition. Also included is a leather cap box with very nice R. WHITE U.S. ORDNANCE DEPT. Inspection stamp. Box still retains the internal wool padding and has maker stamp from Newark, New Jersey. Offered in excellent condition.
