Item Description

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great photo of a U.S. Indian Wars era soldier in a musician’s jacket with a forage cap. The photo is mounted on a “Pocket Gem” which was just a coin-sized photo frame to keep photos of your loved ones in your pocket.

The photograph measures roughly 1½” in diameter. The back of the photo reads:

The photo has some damage but is in overall great shape and a rare piece of Indian Wars era ephemera. This is the first Pocket Gem we have come across. A great piece ready for further research and display.
