  • Original Item: Only One Available. This little Antique Colt New Line Revolver in .22 just showed up in the warehouse. This is a first model new line with a 4-digit serial number (serial number is not fully legible). This is a 7-shot 22 cal revolver, nickel frame, though most of the nickel has worn away with bird's head rosewood grips in near excellent condition. Although it cocks and fires perfectly the hand, which is absent, does not revolve the cylinder. Visually pleasing with the correct colt markings along the top of the barrel:

    COLT'S PT F.A. MFG. CO

    HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A.

Left side of barrel is etched:

    COLT NEW 22

Under side of the barrel is marked:

    PAT. SEPT. 15. 1874

This little pistol makes a nice affordable piece of American history.
