Item Description
Original Item. Only One Available. Here’s a really interesting piece perfect for any ordnance collection or man-cave, a fully rubber inert U.S. copy of a Russian RBK-250 PTAB-2.5 Aircraft Cluster Bomb, standing tall at 100”, or 8⅓’. It measures 15” wide and 15” deep. It has a sticker near the bottom reading EOD INERT, EOD meaning Explosive Ordnance Disposal. This bomb was never active, as it is a complete rubber replica made for recognition and training purposes. The bomb has four fins that link via a circular base. The welding marks across the bomb are all faux, and the bomb mimics a real example in almost every way. As with all deactivated ordnance, this item is not available for export.
The United States built these as recognition and training devices, so they could identify the bomb as Russian in the field when seen on enemy planes. The bomb weighs approximately 50 pounds, and the shipping weight is 85 pounds.
This is a beautiful display piece with a great story, perfect for any ordnance or Cold War collection! This is the only example we have ever had to offer, don’t miss it!
