  • Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. The 121st Transportation Company is a Pennsylvania Army National Guard unit based in Lebanon and Philadelphia, assigned to the 228th Motor Transport Battalion, 213th Regional Support Group. The unit provides truck driver roles, fuel hauling, and logistics support.

This is an outstanding display piece for any collector of Pennsylvania militaria or perhaps even a veteran of this unit! This 22 x 26” steel sign is painted with a turtle wearing a camouflage helmet, pulling a wagon carrying an elephant who happens to look a lot like Dumbo. The sign reads:

    121ST TRANS. CO.
    (MDM TRK CGO)
    PA ANG
    LEBANON, PA.

    U-CALL WE HAUL
    273-0121

There is some heavy paint loss but this was certainly a hand-painted example that sat hung up for years if not decades. A great memento, ready for display!
