Original Item. Only One Available. The HGU-39/P is a chemical, biological, oxygen helmet and mask used in the 1980s. The basis of the HGU-39/P is an SPH-4 helmet without the visor cover. Cast aluminum oxygen mask receivers and Air Force communication components complete the basic helmet. A chemical hood can also be laced over the helmet and mask. This is just the basic helmet without any of the attachments.
There is a sticker on the back reading FOR TRNG USE ONLY #X-1977.
This example retains the inner lining with GENTEX headphones. The helmet retains its label:
