Original item: Only One Available. These slings are quite hard to find. Original supple brown leather Musket Sling from the U.S. Civil War. Originally issued to the Union troops, but who knows where this ended up. 41" in overall length, it still retains its "running" keeper loop and its "fixed" loop to one end. The other end has a brass hook designed to slot into one of the slings central holes running down much of its length.
Usually these slings are dried out, torn or completely worn out and stretched, Amazingly our example is nice and supple and ready to install to complete your display!
