Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely framed piece, a lot of 17 pieces of ammunition and one Infantry French Horn cap badge recovered from Civil War Battlefields. The ammunition appears to be glued to the red felt backing, and the largest musket ball at the bottom left is a bit heavy, so this set probably wouldn’t work well as a wall display, just sitting flat would be better. The frame measures 10½ x 12¼”. This set is Not Available for Export.
The set contains seven projectile bullets, three early “casings”, and seven different sized ball shots. The caption reads:
AMMUNITION TAKEN FROM CIVIL WAR BATTLEFIELDS
CALIBER RANGE: 1 ¼ CANISTER TO .36 PISTOL BALL
A very interesting set, ready for further research and display!
