Overall condition is excellent, though this revolver has been refinished. Still bear original walnut grips, tight cylinder lock, strong smooth action, good bore and overall splendid condition. W inspector’s mark on the cylinder and L on the trigger guard, serial number clearly visible on underside of the barrel reads 80999 as well as a matching number on the grip frame, the serial number range places the date of manufacture in or about 1865.
