Original Item: One Only. This is a sleeper, totally untouched since coming out of more than 100 years in storage. Wiped over, not cleaned and not restored.
This is an original M-1860 U.S. Cavalry Saber from the Civil War clearly marked on the blade:
On opposite side of the 35" curved blade it is marked

A.G.M are the government inspector's initials. The three bar brass hilt guard has a leather bound grip; the brass wire binding is nicely intact. The saber comes with the original matched all steel curved scabbard with two retaining rings. A very nice sword!
