Original Item: Only One Available. Dating from the Spanish American War or Early WW1 this is a U.S. Army Cavalry Mail Saddle Bag that was originally one part of a pair. Someone cut it away from the other bag and added an ingenious shoulder strap making this an excellent single satchel.
Features:
- U.S. is embossed on flap.
- Leather is still pliable and shows age appropriate wear and tear.
- All straps and brass buckles in useable condition, one strap has been repaired.
- Interir of bag still has original canvas lining.
- Bag measures 13" across at top flap by 12" tall.
