Item Description
Original Items: Only One Lot of 2 Available. This is a fantastic pair of a rather important edged weapon in the toolbox of the WWII soldier. One of the most famous knife types in the world, the machete, which was quite capable of cutting its way through the dense jungles of Burma and many other jungle battlefields during WWII. Its lengthy blade could also deliver a devastating blow to an enemy when the need arose.
Both machetes have blades that measure approximately 17 inches. They both have very faint Sheffield, England markings on the blades. The one machete is paired with an American made Victory PLastics scabbard. This was not uncommon as soldiers/Marines would often acquire items or trade for them, so this very well could have been American carried.
Both would be welcomed into any WWII collection. Comes more than ready for further research and display.
