Original Item: Only One Available. We just received this lovely example along with about 200 other guns, from a collection that sat in an attic for close to 100 years. This is an Antique double barrel hammer Shotgun, with 30" barrels dated 1892. The pistol grip stock is checkered and the locks have some minimal engraving. They are also marked BAKER GUN CO., for the Baker Gun & Forging Co. of Batavia, New York.
The gun is in nice shape, and bores are clear, with some oxidation peppering. The standard top lever pushed to the side, opening the chambers for reloading. Removing the forestock allows the barrels to be removed from the receiver. The serial number 36898 is marked on all three parts of the shotgun. Shotgun functions well, the ejector presents, and both locks work correctly. It also is a quite lovely example, with a Damascus twist barrel and checkered walnut stocks.
Already almost 130 years old and still in good condition, ready to display!
