Original U.S. Aviation Section Signal Corps Trench Art Ring
- Original Item: One-of-a-kind. Handed from a U.S. Great War veteran and purchased directly from his Grandson, this is a fantastic custom made trench art ring for a member of the Aviation Section. It features a ghostly skull wearing a leather flying helmet over what appear to be crossed propellers and the Aviation Section wing insignia. It is filled with what appears to be enamel or possibly a high gloss paint, however, it is extremely hard a durable. The sides appear to bear a soldier's profile with a sun helmet. Interior is marker marked but it is very difficult to read. Ring is a quite a large size for a thick finger.
