  • Original Item: Only One Available. This is exactly what it says; made by the VICTOR SAFE & LOCK Co, CINCINNATI, OHIO and Dated 1918. The front is marked Q.M.C. U.S.A. The locking bolts, combination dial and closure are intact and functional.

This old iron/steel chest measures 15" x 15" x 24" wide. It has a working combination lock and we do know the combination, making it fully functional.

Black finish overall, lid has two panels each detailed with a gold rectangular outline. From a time when GOLD was legal tender and $20 gold pieces still changed hands as legal face value payments and all of the soldiers were paid in cash.

A romantic item bringing up visions of when overseas and domestic military operations still had to funded in hard cash.

Heavy (115 lbs) but lift-able by one man when empty and easily shipped, making it just ideal for your treasure! Offered in excellent functional condition, complete with a known working combination. Very appealing to look at.
