Original Item: Only One Available. This is an original Vietnam War era Vietnamese produced black wool Souvenir beret with leather band, rayon and plastic interior. The inside bear an original Vietnamese foil label under the plastic sweat shield which reads CHAN-HUNG SAIGON. The beret is approximately a US size 7 (56cm) and features a hand stitched 101st Airborne Division patch or flash, Viet-Nam rocker patch, clasp back sterling silver parachute wings and red/white/blue embroidered 82nd Airborne Division jump oval. The beret and all patches are Vietnam War era and offered in very good condition. These berets and other hats, such as boonies were very popular among American servicemen during their time in Vietnam and would be assembled as souvenir's of their time at war.
