Original Items. Very Few Available. We are offering a great selection of U.S. Anti-Japanese propaganda matchbook covers that were dropped over Japanese-occupied territories in Burma. The matchbook has messages in both Burmese and in Kachin, so anyone in Burma would have been able to read it.

One side of the matchbook shows Japanese soldiers massacring other soldiers . The other side shows an American bomber with the phrase “This American bomber was flying to help drive the Japanese out of Burma. Next to this is the American flag over “A gift from our American friends.”

The books have no matches and do not close. They could be filled with matches for display or displayed as is! When laid flat, they measure 1 ½ x 4 ½”.
