Original Items. Only One Available. This is a lovely set of two allied airplane models from the post-WWI 1920s period. There are two handmade planes, one of which is attached to the base via a post. The other may have originally had a post but it’s gone.
The display board measures 8 x 8 x ⅞”. The fixed plane has the US Air Service 1917 and 1921-1941 roundels on the wings, while the loose plane has the 1918-1920 American insignia during WWI. The loose plane is missing one of the three rudders as shown.
A lovely display piece.
