Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a gorgeous lot of Early 19th Century Firearm equipment including two scarce percussion cap tins with visible transparent lids, unbelievably scarce to find from this period.
The lot includes:
- Sealed tin of percussion caps with glass lid allowing viewing of caps which are beautifully stored inside. A phenomenal piece in its own right. 2” in diameter, ¾” tall.
- Smaller sealed tin of percussion caps with transparent lid allowing viewing of caps. 1½” in diameter, ½” tall.
- Empty tin of F. Joyce & Co. Percussion caps, London England. Tin is empty but a nice display piece. 1½” in diameter, ¾” tall.
- 1850s Compass, made in Germany. Functions but a little wonky. Small hole on one side. 1⅞” in diameter, ⅝” tall.
- Small decorative personal percussion cap pocket tin, with hand-done ornamentation on top and bottom. Hinge works great, really a work of art. 1¾” in diameter, 7/16” tall.
- Flintlock Pistol Priming Horn, wrapped with leather but leather is deteriorating. Both end caps screw on and off well, a great & scarce piece. 4¼” long. 1⅛” diameter.
A fantastic lot of gear with great display capabilities! Comes ready for further research and display.
