Original Item: Only One Available. Recently obtained from a private museum collection this is a rare Swedish M-1823 Dragoon Cavalry Helmet of the Swedish Royal Guard. Constructed of a full hard leather shell with brass fittings, and displays the Swedish royal cypher of three crowns on the brass plate. The helmet comes with large embossed brass crest and scalloped chin scales.
Complete with original leather liner, the only wear appears to be on a single leather tab on the chin scales. Extremely attractive and very unusual.
