  • Original Item. Only One Available. This is an extremely well-preserved Spanish Air Force officer’s dagger, featuring a nickel-plated magnetic metal blade. The blade sits securely in the upper crossguard, itself constructed of gilded bronze, with the obverse depicting raised, feathered wings topped by a Spanish royal crown. The reverse features the Spanish coat of arms flanked by laurel leaf branches.

The blade is in great shape overall and retains the maker’s mark of a crossed N and F under a crown over TOLEDO. The plating is in good order without any serious wear or loss. The handle is constructed of ribbed white celluloid, with the ribbing wrapped in twisted and rolled copper wire. There is some cracking in the grip as shown and it is now very loose to the hilt, and the hilt has some looseness to the blade. The dagger is completed by a round gilded pommel.

The scabbard features dual integrated bands bearing loops accommodating a chain dagger hanger which is still intact, very rare to see.

An outstanding Spanish Air Force officer’s dagger, ready to display.
