  • Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great Soviet propaganda poster from the “Great Patriotic War”, World War II. It depicts German soldiers on the Eastern Front, bearing the harsh winters of Russia, with the caption:


    Old Proverbs in a New Way…


    The Frost is Not Strong, but it does not allow you to stand still.


    The German soldiers appear to be running by don’t get far as the cold freezes some of them. This cartoonish poster was designed by Muratov Nikolai Evgenievich, a graphic artist and sculptor, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. It was published by Leningradsky Soyuz Sovetskikh Khudozhnikov (LSSKh). The poster is in great shape and only has minor folding and staining. A fantastic piece of WWII history that would look great framed.


    The poster measures 13½ x 20½”. A great piece of history, ready for further research and display.
