Item Description

Original Item: Manufactured in the USSR and dating between 1943-1947, this tunic is constructed of thick, high quality napped olive green wool. Stand-up collar with red piping on the collar, cuffs and tails. None of the buttons are dated or back marked indicating pre-1945 manufacture. The ceremonial gilt buttonholes on the cuffs are embroidered. The collar insignia finished in bullion gilt are sewn to the collar. Shoulder boards are six-sided, pre-1947 type, in red with gilt ribbon and have a silver star along with Crossed Cannon Artillery pin. Jacket is offered in overall excellent condition.
