Original Item. Only One Available. This is a fantastic & scarce Soviet poster dated 1943 from the “Great Patriotic War”, World War II. The poster depicts a German soldier eating bread in front of two starving children. The caption translates to
SOLDIER, SAVE THESE CHILDREN
FROM STARVATION
EXTERMINATE
THE GERMAN AGGRESSORS!
The poster measures roughly 11¼ x 13½”, and is dated 1943. It was designed by Viktor Koretsky and printed by Iskysstvo Moscow. The poster doesn’t appear to have any serious folding and is in fantastic shape overall. A very iconic WWII poster, the first of this example we have offered.
