Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice standard maroon Airborne Beret, as used during the Vietnam War by the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. It has a very nice embroidered cap badge on the front, showing the correct parachute in the middle, with a "Wing" wreath. There is a size 55 stamped on the back of the leather guard behind the badge.
Most likely this is a standard NATO issued Beret, as used by the U.S., U.K., France, and many other countries. They were supplied to the ARVN, who then attached their own locally made cap badges to them. Condition is quite nice, showing moderate wear.
