  • Original Items. Only One Lot of Three Available. This is a great lot of three ration tins issued to South African soldiers before and during World War II.


    The three included are:
    - A small “Silver Jubilee” tin with the dates 1910-1935. There are portraits of King George V & his wife, Queen Mary of Teck. Measures 5½ x 1½ x ½”.
    - 1945-Dated tin for the new year reading Nuwejaar - New Year 1945. From the South African Gifts and Comforts Fund. Measures 4½ x 2¾ x ¾”.
    - 1940-Dated Tin, Greetings from South Africa. Phrases in English and Afrikaans. Measures 7 x 4½ x 1”.


    This is a great lot of ration tins perfect for any WWII collection. Very scarce pieces! Comes ready for further research and display.
