Original Item. Only One Available. This is a scarce limited edition framed lithograph group of four signatures of famous WWII pilots from four countries. They include General Günther Rall of Germany, Vitali Popkov of the Soviet Union, William Lawley M.O.H. (Medal of Honor) of the United States, and William “Bill” Reid V.C. (Victoria Cross) of the United Kingdom.
The frame measures roughly 31¼ x 31½” with the primary print depicting the four aircraft that would’ve been utilized by the four famous pilots, with their signatures at the bottom in a row. This print by Jay Ashurst is of a series of 1000, this example being numbered 346/1000.
The bottom of the print includes separate biographies of the four men, with these biographies also being signed individually. Each biography includes integral information about the service of the men, their valorous efforts, and their awards from the conflict. This is a fantastic piece of WWII history that will look fantastic wherever it’s hung. Comes ready for further research and display!
