Original Item. Only One Available. This is a signed print of “War’s End” by Attila Heija, signed at the bottom by several crew members of the Enola Gay, including Pilot Paul W. Tibbets and Navigator Theodore J. Van Kirk. The frame is well-put together and the print is very clear. There are six additional signatures with this piece as well. This is a limited run print, out of 2000, but it is not numbered that we can see. The frame comes with the original page showing the description of the print.
The print was made from a 1994 painting by renown aviation artist Attila Hejja. It is signed by General Charles "Chuck" Sweeney" Nagasaki Mission Commander and B-29 Bock's Car pilot, and several more crew members including Sergeant Ray Gallagher, Capt. Dallery(?), Fred Bock, Lt. Fred J. Olivi, John D. Kuharek, and Bob Hadier.
The frame also has a 20th Air Force patch and two additional signatures, Kermit K. Beahan and Frederick J. Ashworth.
An outstanding frame, ready to hang and display!
